Once you build the WORKERS' HOMES, your staff live a real day: they sleep at night, eat lunch at noon and take coffee breaks. Before that they work around the clock.
| Building | Price | Unlocks after |
|---|---|---|
| WORKERS' HOMES | $9,000 | Flour Mill land |
| WORKERS' CANTEEN | $14,000 | Workers' homes |
| AHWA | $450,000 | Coffee grinder |
| QAHWAGI | $200,000 | Ahwa |
- Teams: staff doing the same job are teammates. When one goes on a break, a working teammate COVERS for him: he carries twice the stack and walks 20% faster ('x2' over his head).
- Night: staff sleep at home in turns. Every 3rd member of a team works the night shift and covers the sleepers. Waking up RESTED gives up to +45% speed for a while (crowded beds, a leaking pipe or a broken TV/fridge make the rest worse).
- Noon: the LUNCH WHISTLE. Everyone eats together in the canteen (else at the Ahwa, else at home), then comes back FED and faster. Canteen meals: +20% speed (+4% per canteen level) for a while; stalls keep selling from their stock meanwhile.
- Coffee breaks at the Ahwa, twice a day, one teammate at a time. The qahwagi serves coffee (biggest boost, +30% +2% per Ahwa level) or tea when the coffee runs out (+15%). One bag of ground coffee = 4 cups; the AHWA HELPER brings it from the grinder.
- Workers' homes: each level adds bunk beds, then more room and comfort. Canteen: each level adds tables and makes meals quicker. When the staff outgrow them, the game offers ANOTHER WORKERS' HOME / ANOTHER CANTEEN on a back lot.
The qahwagi's third level hires a second qahwagi.
