Animals, feed & fields

Animal houses make goods on their own as long as the animals are fed. Fields regrow after you harvest them.

A house starts with 1 animal plus the 'per level' amount for each level, and the base time is divided between all of them, so every level makes it faster. Fish, honey, fruit, wool and beans are carried to the tray by the house's own farmhand (fisherman, beekeeper, pickers, shearer).

  • A trough holds 40 feed. An empty trough stops the animals.
  • In the egg farm and dairy farm the feed comes from your own fields (feed helpers carry it). Houses in other areas buy feed automatically, 12 at a time, when their trough drops under 8.
  • Animals left hungry for 75 seconds fall ill (once you own a pharmacy) — see Services.
  • BETTER FEED (dairy farm, $700 / $1,600 / $3,500) makes every animal on the farm 35% faster per level.

Fields: walk through a field (or let workers do it) to harvest. Each cell regrows in about 9–15 seconds, faster in rain and spring, slower in winter. A HARVESTER drives the field for you; each harvester level makes the field regrow 15% faster.

Honey, apples, oranges and coffee beans change with the season: honey drops to 25% in winter, apples to 30%, oranges to 50%, beans to 60%.
